Jeff has been a life long resident of Clark County. After graduating from Mountain View High School in June of 1986, he started his journey in Emergency Services. In July of 1986, Jeff joined Fire District 3 as a volunteer firefighter while attending the Paramedic Training Institute in Portland, Oregon. Jeff was employed by North County EMS for one year and American Ambulance for two years prior to being appointed a full time firefighter position with Fire District 3 in 1990. He worked his way through the firefighter ranks and was promoted to Captain in 1998. In 2004, Jeff was appointed to his current position of Battalion Chief.
Jeff's responsibilities include apparatus, resident firefighters, volunteer recruitment, the cadet program, and the daily shift duties as a Battalion Chief.
Jeff has an associate's degree in fire protection technology and is in his final year of the Executive Fire Officer Program through the National Fire Academy.
Jeff lives in the Battle Ground Lake area with his wife and two daughters.
