A fifth generation native California refugee, Buck has been a resident, ardent supporter and active community member of Clark County for the last 25 years. Trained as a research scientist at Humboldt State University he has a deep love of the outdoors. Weekdays you can find him working in management at Hewlett-Packard Corporation in Vancouver. At other times he is involved as a strategic planning consultant, sits on a wide variety of boards and committees, and is an active Rotarian serving as District Governor (1999-2000). Personal interests include first and foremost his wife and children, and then photography, gardening, woodworking, fishing, enology...as time allows. Buck feels it is an honor and privilege to serve as a Commissioner for Clark County Fire District 3, one of the best managed and most responsible fire services in the region.
